Careers

The Wellcome Trust Centre for Stem Cell Research continues to expand and seek to attract outstanding Investigators from Group Leader to Junior level to further stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

Group Leader positions are recruited competitively through open calls and sponsored for fellowship funding. These calls will be advertised here as they become available.

Group Leaders are always keen to hear from suitable, motivated researchers looking to develop their careers. Their profile pages will advertise any current vacancies in their group, alternatively, expressions of interested are always warmly welcomed.

Studentships

The Wellcome Trust Centre for Stem Cell Research at the University of Cambridge offers a unique environment for comprehensive, high-level research training in stem cell biology. The University is exceptional in the depth and diversity of its research in Stem Cell Biology, and has a dynamic and interactive research community that is ranked amongst the foremost in the world.

Our Centre coordinates the Cambridge Stem Cell Initiative's PhD Programme in Stem Cell Biology. This programmes enables students to take full advantage of the strength and breadth of stem cell research available in Cambridge. In addition, all of our students also benefit from the unique cultural advantages of College life and membership of the University of Cambridge.

In addition our Centre also supports PhD Students funded by other sponsors or self-funded PhDs.
