How to Apply
Applications to our PhD Programme
We are now accepting applications for studentships starting in October 2012.
Deadline for applications is THURSDAY 31st MAY 2012. Regardless of any looser deadlines set by Graduate Admissions for admission to the course, you must adhere to the 31st May deadline to be considered for the studentships.
If you are not eligible for MRC funding, you should consider other studentships.
GRADSAF Application
Applicants intending to pursue a course of graduate study or research at the University of Cambridge must complete and submit the GRADSAF application form to Graduate Admissions by the relevant deadline. By submitting one GRADSAF form per course applied for, candidates will, where eligible, be considered for:
- Admission to a course of graduate study or research by Graduate Admissions
- Admission to a College by one or more of the Cambridge Colleges
- Funding offered by the Cambridge Trusts
- Other awards offered by the University of Cambridge (Overseas Research Studentships, Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Awards and Domestic Research Studentships).
As part of your GRADSAF Application you MUST:
- Indicate you wish to apply for the MRes + PhD in Stem Cell Biology (full-time only) Course Code: BLSTR1
- Provide details of at least TWO references
- Include an up-to-date CV, detailing your work and education history and indicating any research experience
- Provide a personal statement of interest, describing your motivation for wishing to undertake this course.
